This is a really pretty Sahara Yellow Empress Blank 1401 tea or coffee Cup and Saucer made by Heisey Glass. The Cup measures 3 3/4 inches in diameter. The Saucer measures 6 3/8 inches in diameter. The Cape Cod pattern was produced by Imperial Glass Company from 1932 through 1984 when they closed. Not all pieces were made throughout those years, but the long production period is testimony to its lasting popularity. Offered here is the marmalade jar & cover that dates to the 1940's - 50's. Cambridge made applied the Chantilly etch from 1936-58. These shakers a modestly cloudy -- salt was used in both. They have silver plated tops with very minor denting. They stand 3.25" tall.
